Skin Deep

We are getting rough and tough here on A Touch of Rosey with some fun body care finds at Marshalls!

I'm going to start off with the Mr.Bean Coffee Bean Scrub. Guys, this was by far the most amazing scrub I have ever used. Its tough enough on the skin so it can improve imperfections such as stretch mars and discoloration and also remove any dead skin left on your body. But what I find funny is that it seems like it would be very rough on your skin and will leave it dry but actually it leaves your skin feeling very soft and looking rejuvenated. Not to mention smelling like a Starbucks drink when you're done;)

Just some fun facts about the ingredients you can find inside a package of Mr.Bean Coffee Bean Scrub:

  • Shea butter, intensely moisturizes the skinCaffeine will stimulate blood flow and help reduce the appearance of cellulite, eczema, stretch marks, age spots, varicose veins and psoriasis.

  • Demerara Sugar and Himalayan Salt will exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin, acne, whiteheads, blackheads, breakouts and other skin blemishes

  • Coconut Oil will hydrate and moisturize your skin

  • Cocoa and Vitamin E are high in antioxidants which nourish and protect the skin, promoting cell repair and rejuvenation

I am HUGE on lotion, since I was a competitive swimmer for 9+ years I had to use lotion religiously to keep my skin from looking like a lizard. That being said I am always looking for new types of lotion that will keep my skin looking hydrated and smooth.

I found a Coconut and Caffeine body nutter from NATURABODY that actually firms, tones, and moisturizes your skin.

Ingredients that can be found in this all day moisture therapy:

  • Coconut, softens and nourishes

  • Caffeine, reveals firmer looking skin

  • Vitamin E, soothes the skin for a healthier look

I tried another body scrub which was the BLACK GOLD Charcoal Body Scrub from Home and Body Co. To be honest I didn't like this one too much. I have very sensitive skin so I felt that this was a little TOO rough on my skin as opposed to Mr.Bean. It also left a bit of black residue on my body.

There is a Plus side to this scrub though, it did help to prevent razor burns and bumps. The body scrub also has essential oils in it which is supposed to help with acne, bumps, and skin hydration.
