Chic on the streets
I have been finding that I am really gravitating towards these high slit shirts this season. I mean 1. they are totally in fashion right now and 2. They look AMAZING with a pair of skinny jeans and heels. Such a simple outfit but it is so chic. If you haven’t noticed by now that’s kind of my thing- super simple, yet super cute. I feel like I developed that style from my nasty habit of ALWAYS running late to school because hello sleep! I would always try to find the easiest outfits but still try to make myself look somewhat presentable to society. And I have essentially gravitated that motto to now my everyday life, between working, blogging, and going out.
I feel like such a traitor for wearing these jeans because, believe it or not, these are NOT Lucky Brand jeans *gasp* *faint* I know, it hurts but I swear by these white jeans y’all. I always have such a hard time trying to find white jeans. Most ‘fashion jeans’ for any company, not just Lucky Brand, only come in an ankle length which is a total bummer. I am all leg so they are usually short on me but I found these at Gap and could get them in a regular and they fit so beautifully I was still able to cuff them at the bottom how I like. A win from me.
I swear I literally felt like a modern-day Cleopatra with this outfit. To be honest it’s probably the necklace. This stunning piece I found at a consignment shop. I know I know, “well how am I supposed to find another one????” I have linked a couple down below that I found online that I simply LOVED and would be great as a substitute for this necklace if not a better fit.
Something I don’t do too often but I loved my makeup that day because it was very simplistic but had a cute pop of color as well. I just want to rave about this lip color really quick. I am all about a natural lip but I feel like for it not to look like concealer on your lips it needs to have a pinky undertone. That being said I love this Vegan Pacifica lipstick in the shade, XOX. It lasted me the entire day, no reapplication at all! I ate like a pig that entire day from powdered doughnuts, to a smoothie, to Sushi, to even hot Cheetos (I eat healthy don’t worry bout it). And somehow my lipstick stayed on so you can see how I could swear by it. I’ve linked all the makeup I’m wearing down below so check it out!
