Brakemans and Birkenstocks
I took my little brother to a new coffee place that opened up this year in my little town called Brakemans and it is the most adorable thing you have ever seen. I would definitely say it is the new "hub" of Matthews. It is the perfect place to stop and unwind or to crack down on some overdue work (oops)! They have the most creative holiday drinks like their "cousin eddie" a spiced eggnog Latte that is to die for!
I have been on a serious hunt lately for the PERFECT pant overalls. I have the same recurring problem with overalls as I do with rompers. MY BODY IS TOO LONG FOR CUTE THINGS! That being said I have probably tried on every pair of overalls in the QC. My requirements? Boyfriend style, pockets for snacks, and long enough so I can cuff the bottoms without them being Bermuda shorts. Julie's Boutique BLESSED me with the "Small town girl overalls" and I couldn't be happier. Now I did go up to a Medium in these to receive 'maximum bagginess'.
There are so many things you could put under overalls that can give it a totally different look altogether.
