Back in Black...and denim?
AAAAAAAANNNNDDD IM BACK! After taking a much needed hiatus from the blogging industry I am back to doing what I love. I decided to take a break to simply focus on spending quality time with family and friends and my full time job which definitely helped improve my work ethic and motivation. Taking this time off I have built new relationships and have opened doors for myself that I never knew could be opened to begin with. so without further ado lets get on with the post ;)
This past month I had the honor of reversing the roles and being behind the camera for a change. I got to do a photo shoot for my lovely friends and beautiful photographer Krissy. She is such an amazing photographer and it was such an honor to shoot her and her boyfriend Hiatt for their Graduation pictures. Y'all need to check out her work guys she is truly amazing. She has shot the majority of my photo shoots for A Touch of Rosey. But my favorites are this one, this one, and this one. this outfit has single-handedly been my go to outfit for the past month as it is so easy to put together and requires minimal effort. For the jeans I am wearing The High Rise Tomboy in Headliner chew a High rise boyfriend fit. I wear these jeans for 10+ hours and I swear they just keep getting softer each wear.
With baggier jeans you still want to give your body shape with something a bit more structured at the top. I chose this adorable Free People top that is cut a bit shorter (or maybe its reguar length and I'm just tall¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but either way it is super cute with high rise jeans.
This sweater has been my favorite third piece for every outfit. I wear it with dresses, shorts, skirts, jeans, EVERYTHING! It is more of a circle style Bolero which makes it a bit slouchier and cozy instead of a structured straight laid cardigan. And not only is it cute but I wear it inside out ;) if you wear it inside out the seems are all fringy so it looks super cute and rugged, giving it a bit more texture and flare. Who knew right?!
