6 years later...

I’ve rewritten this about a thousand times over the past year. How do you kick off a new chapter after six years of unintentional ’no contact’ with your own blog?

The past six years have been both invigorating and terrifying. It has been six years of experiencing the greatest love and the deepest loss. During this time, I have been figuring out who I am and, more importantly, who I am not. I've spent six years moving around, and around, and yes, around again, finally landing in a place that is all mine. Along the way, I have picked up several hobbies and a couple of obsessions that I am excited to share with you all.

With all the changes that have occurred, I'd like to reintroduce myself. My name is Megan Rose, and welcome back to A Touch of Rosey. I live in Charlotte, NC, and have been calling this place home for over 15 years. Originally from Tampa, Florida, I enjoy rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning. My favorite season is spring, and my current color obsession is Sage Green. I could eat sushi every day and really enjoy Jeni’s ice cream when I'm feeling down. I have two younger brothers who have grown a lot since they were last featured on my page, and I am very grateful for their continued support as I reintroduce the blog.

Since its launch, AToR has mostly focused on fashion. As I've grown, my interests have expanded. I want this blog to cover a wider range of topics, including travel, food, new hobbies, and local events in Charlotte. One of the things I'm most excited about in relaunching this blog is the chance to feature my wonderful friends who have supported me wholeheartedly throughout this journey. I'm introducing a new section called "& Co.," which will be a space to share adventures from girls' nights out, favorite foods, and fun activities.

I've always had a tendency to beat around the bush, so in short, I want this page to capture the beautiful chaos of my life. I look forward to sharing this new chapter with you all.
